Sonal Shah (she/her) was last seen on stage in IAMA Theatre Company’s Untitled Baby Play, for which she received a Performance of The Year Scenie Award. Originally from Chicago, Sonal was one of the first Indian-American women in a major role on a network comedy (Scrubs.) An NBC Diversity Showcase alum with a Disney+ development deal, other credits include Four Samosas, The PTA, Superstore, New Girl, Young Sheldon, The High Note, Definition Please, Mira Royal Detective, The Powerpuff Girls, A Christmas Carol (Goodman Theatre), Celestial Events (IAMA, Outstanding Ensemble in Comedy), Unopened (YPF), A Man Named River (IAMA). After earning a Theater degree from Loyola and graduating from Second City, she studied at The Moscow Art Theatre School at Harvard University, UCB, and JRS.
